Chemical peels are designed to illuminate your skin tone, improve skin elasticity, and brighten your complexion. They are a fantastic way to give your skin a fresh and vibrant glow. Perfect for dull skin, fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation, there are many ways our patients can dive into the next level of their skin therapy. It resurfaces the skin by lifting away stubborn dead skin cells and softening the look of aging and scarring.

    How it works

Chemical peels are applied topically and are absorbed by the skin to promote regeneration. Initially, the skin is cleansed with a gel facewash to remove the skin’s natural oils and any superficial dirt or makeup. The chemical solution is then applied on the skin and left on for 5 minutes to be absorbed. A gentle stinging sensation or heat may be experienced. Depending on your skin’s initial reaction, we can apply up to 4 layers of chemical product on the face and up to 2 layers on the neck and décolleté. A brightening accelerator and retinol are then applied for additional brightening, tightening and exfoliation. The treatment ends with the application of a recovery moisturizer and a 40 SPF sunscreen to protect the skin from the UV rays of the sun. The chemical peel is self-neutralizing and will stay active up to 8 hours after the treatment.

    Your results

Chemical peels have a wide range of benefits, from exfoliating dead skin cells, killing acne-causing bacteria, promoting skin renewal, smoothing out uneven skin tone, and reducing the appearance of fine lines. While there is minimal downtime, you may experience redness for up to 4 days after your chemical peel. A feeling of tightness and flaking in certain regions of the face is quite normal. After approximately 10 to 14 days, your results show a healthy new glow with fresh, radiant skin. It is important to avoid all sun exposure for at least 2 weeks after the treatment and to always apply minimum 40 SPF sunblock on treated area.
